  • Movement is Medicine to the body and spirit. When the body isn't in motion we become stagnant physically and emotionally. This meditative dance practice benefits the body and mind to ease, soften and relax. We dance with eyes covered to get out of external distractions and contemplate within. 

    A beautiful sound track is selected, so the music can guide you through the experience of deepening the connection with your feelings to let it dance through you. A judgment free practice, that allow yourself to move as nobody is watching, neither yourself. Let your whole being become the dance through this profound experience.

  • The Maternal Dance combines meditation, breathing exercises, and fluid dance movements to assist the looseness of the body in benefiting the relaxation of muscles and the health of the joints. Focusing on the spine and pelvic floor, which are the most compromised areas during pregnancy, the circular movements will support flexibility and activate synovial fluids of the joints. Besides the physical benefits, The Maternal Dance also promotes health to the emotional body as, throughout the dance, we also explore our emotions, supporting the mother in managing emotional stress.
